About the Youth Advisory Committee

The YAC will work closely with the Artistic & Executive Director and the Education Director to provide valuable feedback on both our artistic programming and education initiatives. Committee members will play a crucial role in:

• – Reviewing and offering insights on our theatre productions and educational programs, ensuring they resonate with and engage our young audiences.
• – Acting as ambassadors in the community, representing Kaleidoscope’s Youth Arts Education programs and promoting the benefits of arts education.
• – Participating in special events and outreach activities, contributing to the development and execution of initiatives that support and celebrate the arts.

 

Requirements and Expectations

• – Current or past participation in a Kaleidoscope Performing Arts Studio program is required to ensure that committee members have a solid understanding of our programs and mission.
• – Commitment to the role: The YAC is a volunteer position that requires dedication and enthusiasm for the arts and youth education.
• – Active engagement: Members should be prepared to attend regular meetings, contribute to discussions, and participate in community outreach activities.

 

We believe that the re-formation of the Youth Advisory Committee will not only strengthen our programs but also provide an invaluable opportunity for young people to make a significant impact on the future of Kaleidoscope Theatre for Young People.
