Shea is an actor, teaching artist and arts administrator originally from Mohkinstsis, (Calgary, AB). After graduating from the theatre program at the University of Victoria with a specialization in acting, she continued her training at Canada’s National Voice Intensive (now the Moving Voice Institute/MVI) in Toronto. She is now an Associate with the MVI and a founding member of the MVI Alumni Committee. Shea is passionate about theatre education for youth and was an Associate Instructor at Carousel Theatre for Young People, as well as a part of the Riotous Youth Internship Program at Bard on the Beach Shakespeare Festival before joining the faculty at Kaleidoscope Theatre for Young People. In addition to teaching weekly classes and camp programs, Shea has co-directed the Kaleidoscope Young Company (2021) and created an exciting new program; the Teen Shakespeare Intensive. Performance credits include Blue Bridge Repertory Theatre, UVic Phoenix Theatre, Langham Court Theatre, Bragi Theatre and the UBC Brave New Playwrights Festival.

Born and raised in Victoria BC,  Kelsey is a graduate of Uvic’s Phoenix Theatre, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Production and Management. Kelsey has been involved with several shows with Kaleidoscope Theatre for Young People. Her most recent credits are Stage Manager for The Incredible Adventures of Mary Jane Mosquito (2021), Stage Manager for Vivaldi’s Ring of Mystery (2019) and Apprentice Stage Manager for Gruff (2020). Other production experience includes her role as Stage Manager for 7 Stories ( Phoenix Theatre, 2019), West ( Phoenix Theatre, 2017), Yorkshire Tragedy ( Phoenix Theatre, 2018) and The Dining Room (Phoenix Theatre, 2018). She was also recently an Apprentice Stage Manager for Countess Maritza (Pacific Opera Victoria, 2019) and Flight (Pacific Opera Victoria, 2020). Kelsey is excited to be involved with Kaleidoscope in her new role as Production and Administrative Coordinator.
