Kaleidoscope Theatre for Young People is currently hiring nine energetic young people for positions funded with support of the Government of Canada through the Canada Summer Jobs program.

• Teaching Artists (Recreation Program Leaders)

  Reporting to the Education Director, Teaching Artists are responsible for planning and executing arts education programs for young people between the ages of 5-18 in a camp setting. This position provides meaningful employment in the arts sector for emerging artists to develop their skills in education, client service, teamwork, communication, performing arts, and leadership.

• Teaching Assistants (Day Camp Leaders)

  Reporting to the Education Director, Teaching Assistants are responsible for assisting with the execution and daily operations of arts education programs for young people between the ages of 5-15 in a camp setting. This position provides meaningful employment in the arts sector for teenage, highschool, or early career artists to develop their skills in education, client service, teamwork, communication, performing arts, and leadership.

• Admin Assistant (Arts Administrator)

  Reporting to the Executive & Artistic Director, The Admin Assistant role is an integral part of Kaleidoscope Theatre’s operations. This position provides meaningful employment in the arts sector for youth to develop and build their skills in client service, teamwork, communication, arts management, and leadership. The Admin Assistant will work closely with the Production and Administrative Coordinator and Education Director for the successful daily operations of a professional arts organization.
