Kaleidoscope Family Holiday Auction

Kaleidoscope Theatre for Young People is pleased to announce that its Family Holiday Auction will take place online from November 16 to 30, 2026. Held in the weeks leading into the holiday season, the auction invites Greater Victoria families to bid on a selection of prizes and experiences from the comfort of home.

Incredible items and experiences have been generously donated by local businesses and community supporters, and includes family outings, getaways, theatre experiences and festive treats chosen with the whole family in mind. The auction is designed to make holiday giving both enjoyable and meaningful: each bid is an opportunity to secure a memorable gift or shared experience while supporting a cause that benefits local children.

That cause is at the heart of Kaleidoscope’s work. Since 1973, we have brought live theatre and theatre education to young people in Victoria, helping them to see themselves, and the world around them, with fresh eyes. From its home at the Kaleidoscope Arts Centre on Pandora Avenue, Kaleidoscope continues to create incredible live theatre productions, and provides classes, camps and workshops for children and families.

Professional theatre is not always within reach for every family. Proceeds from the Family Holiday Auction help Kaleidoscope keep its programs accessible to Greater Victoria children and families, so that the experience of live theatre is available to as many young people as possible. As a registered charity, Kaleidoscope relies on the generosity of its community, and events such as this one are essential to sustaining that work.

Families are encouraged to save the date and to share the news with friends, neighbours and colleagues. The bidding link will be published at kaleidoscope.bc.ca and on Kaleidoscope’s Facebook and Instagram pages when the auction opens.

Local businesses and individuals who wish to donate a prize are invited to contact Rheanna Finigan at admin@kaleidoscope.bc.ca or 250.383.8124 ext. 103. Donations may be dropped off at the Kaleidoscope Arts Centre, 613 Pandora Avenue, or collected by arrangement. Donors will be recognized in the auction catalogue, by email and on social media, and receipts will be provided where possible.

Kaleidoscope extends its sincere thanks to everyone who supports the auction. Please join us from November 16 to 30 and help keep the magic of live theatre within reach of the next generation of young audiences.
