Spring Showcases

We are very happy to invite our student’s family and friends to their Spring Showcase presentations for our Weekly Group Classes!

What is a “Showcase”?

A Showcase is the final sharing at the end of a term of classes. It takes place in the same studio where students have been learning, rehearsing, and growing each week, and offers a glimpse into the work and progress they’ve made throughout the program.

At Kaleidoscope, our programs are skills-based, with a focus on building confidence, creativity, and a strong foundation in the performing arts. The Showcase is not a fully realized production, but rather a sharing of selected exercises, scenes, songs, and moments developed in class. Think of it as a behind-the-scenes look at the learning process.

Each Showcase celebrates the achievements of every student. Each young artist is at a different stage in their journey—some are just beginning to find their voice, others are gaining confidence performing in front of an audience, and some may be taking on new challenges like a first solo. Stepping into the spotlight takes courage, and we are incredibly proud of the passion, commitment, and growth demonstrated by all of our students.

Our students have been working hard this term, and we’re excited to invite you into the studio to share in their progress and accomplishments.

Who Can I Bring?

Due to limited capacity within our studios, each student may bring a maximum of 4 guests. You do not need to reserve seats in advance. When you arrive, simply give the name of the student you are there to support, and our staff will sign you in.

Can I take Photos/Videos?

Families are welcome to take photos and/or film their child’s showcase presentation. For the privacy of all our young artists, we kindly ask that you do not post these photos or videos to social media. Please note that Kaleidoscope does not record or live-streaming the showcases.

Where Do Showcases Take Place?

All showcases take place at the Kaleidoscope Arts Centre, in the same studio students take their weekly class in. Please note that most showcase presentations will take place in Studio A, which is located on the top floor of the Kaleidoscope Arts Centre. This studio is accessed by 22 stairs or a seated chair lift. Should you have specific access and mobility requests, please contact our office at 250-383-8124.

We look forward to welcoming you into the Kaleidoscope Arts Centre to celebrate the achievements of all of our students!
