The Junior Acting program introduces young performers to the fundamentals of acting
Step into the spotlight and discover the exciting world of acting! The Junior Acting program introduces young performers to the fundamentals of stage performance through imaginative games, improvisation, and ensemble storytelling. Students will explore character creation, physicality, voice, and movement while building confidence, creativity, and collaboration skills in a fun and supportive environment. Using short scenes and scripts, students will begin developing foundational script analysis and performance techniques as they bring dynamic characters and stories to life on stage.

Develop fundamental skills in singing, acting, dancing, and storytelling through song.
Perfect for young performers ready to build on their foundational training, Junior Musical Theatre introduces students to more exciting musical theatre repertoire while continuing to develop skills in singing, acting, movement, and storytelling through song. Working together as an ensemble, students will explore scenes and musical numbers inspired by Broadway productions while being introduced to text work, character development, and more challenging choreography. This energetic and supportive class encourages performers to grow in confidence, stage presence, and performance technique as they continue developing the skills needed for larger musical theatre opportunities.

Through playful theatre games, group songs, creative movement, and storytelling activities, students will explore the foundations of acting, singing, and dance in a supportive and energetic environment. Along the way, young artists will build confidence, teamwork, creativity, and stage presence while discovering the joy of bringing stories to life through music and movement. Perfect for performers who love to move, sing, play, and express themselves!

Explore different styles of acting and a variety of challenging texts, from classical to contemporary plays.
Designed for dedicated young performers looking to deepen and refine their craft, the Teen Acting Program challenges students to explore a wide range of acting styles and more advanced performance material, from classical texts to contemporary plays. Through scene study, ensemble work, and monologue exploration, actors will continue developing their skills in voice, movement, physicalization, character development, and text analysis. Emphasis is placed on making strong creative choices, building emotional connection and authenticity in performance, and strengthening the confidence and discipline needed for more advanced theatrical training and production work — all within a collaborative and supportive ensemble environment.

Teen Musical Theatre class challenges students to tie all of their skills in acting, singing and dancing together.
Designed for passionate young performers ready to take their training to the next level, Teen Musical Theatre challenges students to strengthen and connect their skills in acting, singing, and dance as true “triple threat” performers. Working in a focused and supportive small-group environment, students will explore dynamic ensemble numbers, small group work, and solo material drawn from a wide range of musical theatre styles and eras. Along the way, performers will deepen their understanding of characterization, storytelling through song, vocal technique and style, movement, and audition skills, while building the confidence, versatility, and performance presence needed for more advanced training and production opportunities.
