The Junior Acting program introduces young performers to the fundamentals of acting
The Junior Acting program provides an introductory training in acting and focuses on creating an engaging and dynamic character for the stage. Students will use improvisation, engaging games, and ensemble storytelling to explore physicality, character development, and ensemble building. This program introduces students to the fundamentals of script work with a variety of short scenes and scripts that will allow students to bring their new skills to the stage.

In our Junior Musical Theatre program, students will continue to develop fundamental skills in singing, acting, dancing, and storytelling through song while working as an ensemble with more complex musical theatre pieces. This class introduces students to text work and more challenging choreography to encourage young artists to refine their performance skills.The repertoire is selected from Broadway musicals to challenge the students and showcase their skills.

Explore different styles of acting and a variety of challenging texts, from classical to contemporary plays.
The Teen Acting Program provides students the opportunity to explore different styles of acting and a variety of more challenging texts, from classical to contemporary plays. Actors will continue to develop and refine their acting technique with a focus on physicalization, voice work, and character development. Students will apply their acting skills to an assortment of small group scenes, ensemble work, and monologues.

Teen Musical Theatre class challenges students to tie all of their skills in acting, singing and dancing together.
Building upon the framework set in our Junior and Intermediate musical theatre programs, the Teen Musical Theatre class challenges students to tie all of their skills in acting, singing and dancing together. This class explores dynamic characters in ensemble numbers, small group numbers, and solo work. Students will learn about characterization, vocal styles, and audition techniques. Repertoire for this class is chosen from a variety of musical theatre styles to help students expand their repertoire and gain new skills.

Refine your acting skills in voice, movement, and character development through engaging theatre games, exercises, and script work.
In this intermediate acting class students will continue to refine their acting skills in voice, movement, and character development through engaging theatre games, exercises, and script work. This program encourages students to build on the basics of text work and challenges them to explore a variety of short scenes and scripts. Young actors will have the opportunity to apply their acting skills to creating dynamic characters in a supportive ensemble environment.

A high-energy class where young performers build their skills in acting, singing and dancing.
In this high-energy intermediate class, students explore exciting musical theatre numbers as an ensemble, in small groups, and even try out some solo moments. They’ll build on core musical theatre skills with dynamic and challenging repertoire, while exploring how acting, singing, and dancing come together—and what motivates a character to break into song.
