Working as a committed ensemble, participants will rehearse and perform an abridged Shakespeare production, building from first read-through to final curtain in just two focused weeks.

Under the guidance of Kaleidoscope’s professional directors, actors will deepen their skills through hands-on rehearsal work exploring text analysis, character development, movement, and vocal technique—all grounded in the demands of performance.

No prior Shakespeare experience required—just curiosity and commitment. Every registered student will submit a video audition and be cast in a role. The program culminates in three public performances, celebrating the power, poetry, and thrill of live classical theatre.

Led by professional theatre designer Emily Friesen, this hands-on camp explores the creative heartbeat of theatrical design—where sketches become scenery, fabric defines character, and bold ideas transform the stage.
