It’s never too early to introduce kids to the magical world of theatre! Mini Adventures is a dynamic creative play based program where a parent, guardian or caregiver participates alongside the kids in their life. This energetic class will delight young ones and adults alike with playful songs, movement explorations and stories designed specifically for the youngest theatre lovers. This program is a perfect way for adults to join in on the fun and explore the wonderful world of theatre with their young artists. Limit of 1 adult per child in the classroom.

This high-energy performance intensive is designed for teens who are ready to take the stage in a full musical production! From casting to final curtain, participants rehearse and mount a complete musical with costumes, sets, lights, and sound—experiencing what it truly takes to bring a production to life.

Working closely with Kaleidoscope’s esteemed team of professional directors, teen performers will strengthen their skills in voice, dance, and acting through focused rehearsals and hands-on creation. Fast-paced, collaborative, and deeply rewarding, this Intensive is for passionate performers who want the real show experience—and the thrill of stepping into the spotlight.

This program runs Monday-Saturday both weeks.

The program culminates in 3 public performances at the Denford Hall Theatre at Glenlyon Norfolk School.

The Musical Theatre Intensive Handbook will be included as part of your registration confirmation. This Handbook will contain important program information, including important dates, audition details, schedules, and more.

This program will rehearse at the Kaleidoscope Arts Centre from July 13-July 22, and will be at Denford Hall from July 23-July 25.

Dive into the world of Shakespeare in this dynamic performance intensive designed for teens ready to tackle classical text and bring it boldly to life. Working as a committed ensemble, participants will rehearse and perform an abridged Shakespeare production, building from first read-through to final curtain in just two focused weeks.

Under the guidance of Kaleidoscope’s professional directors, actors will deepen their skills through hands-on rehearsal work exploring text analysis, character development, movement, and vocal technique—all grounded in the demands of performance.

No prior Shakespeare experience required—just curiosity and commitment. Every registered student will submit a video audition and be cast in a role. The program culminates in three public performances, celebrating the power, poetry, and thrill of live classical theatre.

2026 Production: Hamlet

Ready to level up your improv game? This high-energy camp is designed for teens who want to think faster, play bigger, and dive deeper into the art of improvisation. Through a mix of fast-paced games, short-form challenges, and long-form storytelling, participants will create bold characters, build unforgettable scenes, and learn to trust their instincts on stage.

Expect big laughs, smart risks, and seriously creative collaboration. Campers will sharpen their timing, strengthen their physical and vocal choices, and discover the thrill of building something out of absolutely nothing. In a supportive, ensemble-driven environment, teens will push their skills, connect with their peers, and grow into fearless, confident improvisers.

One of our most popular musical theatre programs is back! Spend the week singing, dancing, and acting as you rehearse a mini-musical filled with catchy songs, exciting choreography, and plenty of fun. Students work together to put on a full show that includes multiple songs and interwoven scenes. This camp culminates in a final performance for friends and family to enjoy. Join Splatters Art Studio and Kaleidoscope for a wildly creative week where art explodes into theatre! This one-of-a-kind camp blends hands-on arts and crafts with high-energy performance as campers create an original show from the ground up.

Think cardboard, papier mâché, paint, glitter (yes, glitter!), and bold imagination. Each day, campers split their time between rehearsal and the art studio—diving into acting games, character creation, and staging on one side, while creating and building their own costumes, props, and set pieces on the other.

Every messy masterpiece and magical rehearsal builds toward our final performance. The week wraps with a joyful Friday sharing for family and friends—celebrating a world these young artists dreamed up, designed, and brought to life together.
