Step into the spotlight in Showstoppers, where campers bring big, bold songs from their favourite movies and musicals to life! This camp focuses on building singing, performance, and acting skills through exciting, show-stopping numbers. Campers will learn how to express character, tell a story through song, and work together as an ensemble to create dynamic performances—all while having tons of fun! At the end of the week, campers will share what they’ve learned in a showcase for family and friends.

Love theatre but see the world in colour, texture, and detail? Step into the design studio and shape the look of the show.

Led by professional theatre designer Emily Friesen, this hands-on camp explores the creative heartbeat of theatrical design—where sketches become scenery, fabric defines character, and bold ideas transform the stage. Teens will dive into both set and costume design, discovering how visual storytelling builds mood, meaning, and atmosphere.

Working alongside our Teen Shakespeare Intensive, students will design and help create props, set pieces, and costume elements inspired directly by the script and rehearsals. From page to stage, they’ll learn how text, character, and staging inform every artistic choice.

Their designs will come to life in live performances, and students will have the chance to support the creative team backstage—experiencing the thrill of seeing their vision fully realized in front of an audience.

Experience the magic of musical theatre with this popular program filled with singing, dancing, and acting! In Jr. Improv Camp, young performers will jump into the fast-paced world of improvisation through wildly fun games, imaginative storytelling, and spontaneous play. Campers will stretch their physical and vocal skills, spark their creativity, and build bold confidence as they learn to trust their instincts and say “yes, and!” to every new idea.

Think cardboard, papier mâché, paint, glitter (yes, glitter!), and bold imagination. Each day, campers split their time between rehearsal and the art studio—diving into acting games, character creation, and staging on one side, while creating and building their own costumes, props, and set pieces on the other.

Every messy masterpiece and magical rehearsal builds toward our final performance. The week wraps with a joyful Friday sharing for family and friends—celebrating a world these young artists dreamed up, designed, and brought to life together.
