Welcome Montgomery

Please help us welcome Montgomery Bjornson to our Teaching Faculty at Kaleidoscope Theatre for Young People!

Montgomery is a multi-instrumentalist, singer, and actor. He is an accomplished pianist and has worked professionally as a jazz saxophonist across Canada. He began acting at an early age and eventually trained at both the Randolph Academy for Performing Arts and Vancouver Film School. Since then, he has acted across Canada in theatre productions including the Canadian premiere of Million Dollar Quartet (Chemainus Theatre Festival, Theatre NorthWest), The Buddy Holly Story (Western Canada Theatre, Thousand Islands Playhouse) and in Kaleidoscope’s very own Snow White and the Seven Dwarves. Some other local productions include The Graduate, Pride & Prejudice, The Mystery of Edwin Drood (Langham Court Theatre). He spends a great deal of time in Vancouver working in television and commercials. Montgomery has also worked as a Director and Musical Director in productions that include Humble Boy, Female Transport (Langham Court Theatre) and (How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, Robin Hood and the Bearded Nun, Can Can (OBHCTS). He is delighted to work with Kaleidoscope to provide wonderful opportunities for young actors to develop and nourish their love of theatre.
