Kaleidoscope’s Camp Registration is now officially open for Summer 2022. Sing, dance, and act the summer away at 3 locations around Greater Victoria while honing your skills as a performer. Kaleidoscope offers camps for young people ages 6-18 with more than 20 diverse and exciting programs to choose from.
Registration for programs at the Kaleidoscope Arts Centre, located in the heart of Victoria’s Old Town opens on Friday, April 1, with programs through Saanich Recreation at Royal Oak Middle School and Cedar Hill Recreation Centre opening on April 20!
Are you a teen with a passion for the Bard? They say that “all the world’s a stage,” so experience the Shakespearean magic of the stage with our Teen Shakespeare Intensive. Participate in character development and movement workshops while working together to produce a play from Shakespeare’s canon of work.
Or, perhaps you have a yen for musical theatre. At our Showtime! Musical Theatre Camp, students (6-8 and 9-12) will bring popular musical theatre songs to life through games and exercises. Campers will discover the magic and fun of musical theatre and learn about movement, dance, character development and scene work.
And don’t miss out on one of Kaleidoscope’s most popular camps, Show Biz Kids, for ages 6-8 and 9-12. Music, dance, and acting collide in the fast-paced creation of a mini-musical. Campers enjoy music, lights, choreography, and a whole lot of fun.. Show Biz Kids culminates in a final performance for friends and family to enjoy.
