Clementine: a (true) story

Kaleidoscope Theatre for Young People presents Kleine Compagnie and Théâtre de la Pire Espèce’s Clementine, a heartwarming tale of a young girl's journey through the complexities of family dynamics. This theatre production for children and families is a stunning display of masterful table-top puppetry and storytelling, providing an unforgettable experience for audiences of all ages. 


In Clementine, audiences follow the story of Clementine and her younger sister Laura as they navigate the difficult waters of their parent's divorce. Through the use of vivid imagery, whimsical puppetry, and captivating storytelling, Clementine offers a touching portrayal of the resilience and bravery of children in the face of change.

The production is a collaboration between Vancouver’s Kleine Compagnie and Montreal’s Théâtre de la Pire Espèce. Together, they bring to life a beautifully crafted and emotionally charged production that is sure to move and inspire audiences.

Clementine runs February 21 until February 26 at Victoria’s Langham Court Theatre. The show is suitable for children ages 6+. Advance tickets for public performances can be reserved online at kaleidoscope.bc.ca or by calling the Kaleidoscope Box Office at 250-900-8163. Performances will be offered in both French and English.  

Clementine is the second production in Kaleidoscope’s 49th Season of professional family entertainment and will conclude in the spring with Oz, a co-production between Kaleidoscope and Vancouver’s Carousel Theatre for Young People.
