Let’s Celebrate Barbara Clerihue

Today we wanted to celebrate someone who is pretty special to us, Barbara Clerihue!
Following a career in the Navy, Barbara followed her passion for theatre and received a BFA in Theatre Design from the University of Victoria in 2017. Barbara is stage manager, a designer, a brilliant scene painter, and so much more! In addition to her design work, she has stage and site-managed numerous productions in Victoria.
Previous design credits include Born Yesterday (Blue Bridge), 9 to 5 and RENT (VOS), Les Liaisons Dangereuses, The Inspector, Wild Honey, Summer and Smoke (Phoenix), When the Sun Crosses the Line, Pinocchio, Peter Pan, The Secret Garden, The Little Prince, The Rocky Horror Show, Little Shop of Horrors, Munch-ercise, (Kaleidoscope) and A Murder is Announced, Twelve Pound Note, Separate Tables (St. Luke’s Players).  Upcoming projects include Langham’s 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Pippi Longstocking, and The Giver for Kaleidoscope.
Barbara began her Kaleidoscope adventure in 2010 as the Stage Manager for The Rocky Horror Show, a Lawyer’s On Stage Fundraiser, and since then has been involved in over 23 Kaleidoscope projects! WOW!
Often stage managers and designers don’t get the recognition that they fully deserve, so today we want to celebrate Barbara! We are so grateful to have you as part of the Kaleidoscope Family. Thank you for everything that you do.
Let’s give three cheers for Barbara!
