Kaleidoscope Theatre for Young People Appoints New Executive Director
“I am excited to be part of a vision that will see Kaleidoscope forge an enlarged role and identity to create a rich and dynamic arena to explore theatre for young audiences and to continue to be a vital component in the life of our city and beyond.”
Kaleidoscope Theatre for Young People is Vancouver Island’s resident professional theatre company for young people and families. Established in 1974, Kaleidoscope has a mission to create original, innovative and relevant theatre experiences that stimulate and inspire young people to think critically about the world around them. Under the artistic direction of Roderick Glanville, Kaleidoscope presents a full season of plays for young audiences and operates a full-service theatre school offering extra-curricular classes in musical theatre, acting, and voice.
Kaleidoscope Theatre’s 44th season continues November 3, 2018, at the McPherson Playhouse with The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane, based on the book by Newbury award-winning author Kate DiCamillo.
