An Epic Journey For All Ages

VICTORIA, B.C. – (February 1, 2016) – Kaleidoscope Theatre presents a fascinating story of hostility, friendship and discovering similarities among people at the Metro Studio.

Two unlucky soldiers from opposing sides find themselves stranded on a roof of a house adrift on the sea. Together they must overcome their heightened suspicions if they are to make it out of this ordeal alive. Separated by cultures, language and beliefs, can they find a deeper means of understanding and work together to survive?

Robinson and Crusoe addresses international conflict, race, conflict resolution, culture, and the struggle to survive and overcome adversity in a time of struggle. Kaleidoscope Theatre is excited to present a new production of this award-winning production created by Italy’s Meridiano Theatre by Giacomo Ravicchio and Nino D’Introna translated into English by Brent Holm.

Roderick Glanville directs this energetic one hour production at Victoria’s Metro Studio Theatre. Robinson & Crusoe features lighting by Ben Burrow, projections by Pat Rundell, original composition by Alexander Ferguson and set construction by Phil Lew.

Returning to the Kaleidoscope stage are cast members Garry Garneau and John Han both reprising their roles from Kaleidoscope Theatre’s previous production in partnership with Victoria’s Urban Arts.

Join Kaleidoscope for an epic adventure from Friday February 26 to Sunday March 6. Tickets start at $12.99, including taxes and service charges, and are the perfect treat for the whole family. Tickets available through the McPherson Box Office at 250.386.6121 or online at
