Pinocchio

Event Description

Pinocchio

Based on the book by Carlo Collodi | Directed by Roderick Glanville | Design by Dean Heron

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE REAL?

The spirit of a little boy is trapped inside a piece of wood and born into a strange world.  On his quest to become a ‘real boy’, his journey is fraught with danger and tricksters that mislead Pinocchio on his path. But Pinocchio is also protected through the unconditional love of his father and the Blue Fairy who woke him, as they help him to find his way home.

For our final show of the season, Roderick Glanville will be joining with renowned Kaska/Tlingit artist Dean Heron in this new adaptation of Carlo Collodi’s famous tale, blending it with Pacific Northwest Indigenous traditions to create a new and magnificent work.

Tickets to Pinocchio are $22 for adults, and $12 for students.  Tickets and subscriptions can be purchased at the McPherson Playhouse box office:
