Kamp Kaleidoscope

Based on Camp Columbia’s 2009-2010 “Act Up Summer Camp” designed by Kaleidoscope’s Pat Rundell and Chemainus Theatre Festival’s Michelle Lieffertz, this week long program is specially tailored for young performers of all ages – featuring  five days and four nights of specialty theatre training in a wilderness retreat setting. Over the duration of 5 days and 4 nights, participants will experience 8 different workshops on style of theatre, performance, and creation. Skit nights, camp fires, challenge courses, orienteering, theme meals and all the usual camp fun. Lodged in the beautiful Pacific Woods Lodge at Camp Qwanoes in Crofton BC, young artists will have all the modern amenities while bunking with 6 of their friends. Limited enrolment will guarantee that this theatrical retreat intensive will be unlike anything they have ever experienced.
Cost: $350 per person +HST includes 11 meals, 4 night time snacks, all workshops, excursions, supervision and much much more.

Kaleidoscope Theatre will introduce your young talent to the magic and fun of group songs, duets, solo work, movement and acting games. Participants will create an original short musical theatre play for presentation on the last day for family and friends.
