Kaleidoscope Is Accepting Submissions for Our 39th Season.
Victoria, BC –Kaleidoscope Theatre is seeking lively and talented performers for our exciting 39th Season which includes the Western Canada premiere of The Neverending Story, The Kaleidoscope Family Theatre Festival, and Robinson and Crusoe.
General Auditions will be held for Equity and Adult Artists on Saturday, June 8th, 2013.
Auditions for Young People (Ages 10-17) for The Neverending Story will be held on Sunday June 9th, 2013.
Equity and Adult Artists: Saturday June 8th, 2013- 10:00am-3:00pm
Young Company (Ages 10-17): Sunday June 9th, 2013- 10:00am-3:00pm

Kaleidoscope Theatre is a professional theatre for young audiences, and as such artists are paid – adult cast a contractual fee and young company cast, an honorarium.
Adult Audition Requirements
▪ 1 Contemporary or Classical Monologue not to exceed 2 minutes.
Young Company Audition Requirements

Kaleidoscope Theatre is a member of the Professional Association of Canadian Theatres and engages artists who are members of Canadian Actors’ Equity Association, under the terms of the Canadian Theatre Agreement.
Kaleidoscope Theatre holds general auditions in Victoria each season, typically towards the end of May. Artists are invited to submit headshots and resumes throughout the year. Young Company Casting Policy – Mainstage
Set in place by Kaleidoscope’s Board of Directors effective during the 2010-2011 Theatre Season, the policy is as follows:
In order for a young artist to be cast and considered for any role within the winter mainstage production, they must be registered for Kaleidoscope Performing Arts Studio (KPAS) classes commencing the September following auditions. In order to be offered a role, young artists must already be registered for classes beginning September 2013.
Please note that there will be no preliminary email notification until final casting is released.
