Formed in 2000, Monster Theatre has toured across Canada, won numerous awards including the illustrious Just For Laughs Comedy Festival Frankie Award for Best Comedy, and were featured in a one-hour TV special. Kaleidoscope is proud to bring back Monster Theatre’s Mini Masterpieces – four short adaptations of classic stories by famous writers Mini Masterpieces is a 60-minute presentation of four play adaptations aimed at different grade / reading levels. The plays will be Canadian Wonder Tales by Cyrus Macmillan, A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur’s Court by Mark Twain, Tales from the Arabian Nights, & Peter Rabbit by Beatrix Potter. Each classic story lasts approximately 15 minutes.
