Lizzy is the tallest girl in her class, maybe even the whole school. What do you do when you’re in Grade 4, you don’t fit in, and your once best friend ignores you? You try to make yourself invisible. You don’t draw attention to yourself, you stay very still, so still your classmates won’t even know you’re there. Lizzy practices being invisible every day and she’s getting pretty good at it too, until one day right in the middle of gym class, she has the loudest, most gigantic sneeze EVER. A sneeze so loud and so big that Lizzy’s sneeze comes to life!

THE BIG SNEEZE, a hilarious yet poignant new play, follows the adventures of Lizzy (aided by her VOS – Very Own Sneeze) as she navigates the hallways of her grade school life, in all its challenges, learning that she’s not quite as different from her peers as she thinks.

Dealing with issues of self-esteem and peer relationships, THE BIG SNEEZE takes audiences on a journey of self-discovery and acceptance.
